Munster coach Declan Kidney expressed how much the Heineken Cup means to the province following their historic win in Cardiff...
Kidney took over the top job at Munster last summer and has finished his first season in charge with the biggest prize in European club rugby.
But he was first to praise the outstanding performance of his players.
“You had to be in the dressing room afterwards to realise how much this meant o the players. It was all about them â€" their experience of these occasion and they knew exactly what they need to do to win this game.
“Without a shadow of a doubt it was them who won this cup but it’s not just about them, it’s about their parents, their uncles, their next-door neighbours â€" it’s for everybody who follows Munster.
“If good will ever won a cup then it was this one because there was just so much good will given to the team before this final.â€
