High flying Wales' international wing Shane Williams has extended his contract with Heineken Cup quarter-finalists the Ospreys for three more years.
The prolific try scorer will stay with the Welsh region until at least 2011 and cannot imagine playing anywhere else. The 31 year old said:
"This is the only place I want to play rugby, I've been involved in the region for 10 years now, firstly at Neath and then with the Ospreys, and it's where I feel at home.
In those ten years Williams has scored an impressive 35 tries for Neath and the Ospreys and now has ambitions to go into coaching with the region. "I'd like to hope that there'll be some kind of opportunity for me to stay involved within the region in a coaching role," he said.
The Ospreys will face Saracens on Sunday, 6 April at Vicarage Road in a first Heineken Cup quarter-final for the both sides. This latest Ospreys contract news follows a four year contract extension signed by Lee Byrne earlier this week.
Shane Williams is currently the Ospreys' record try scorer and looks set to beat the Wales international test record, held by Gareth Thomas, later this season.
