Christophers ruptures knee ligaments

Castres wing Phil Christophers' season has probably been brought to an premature end after he suffered a severe knee injury on Friday.
The three-times capped England wing ruptured ligaments in his left knee in the 13-all draw with Bayonne in the Top 14 on Friday.

The 27-year old will undergo additional scans this week but it looks likely that he will not lace his boots up again this season.

Christophers joined Castres in 2005 from Leeds Tykes when the they were relegated from the Premiership.
