Williams racing to start season

Former rugby league star Sonny Bill Williams faces a race against time to be fit for the start of the European season
With a young career already punctuated by injuries, the 23-year-old injured himself whilst playing in the French Championship with Toulon. 

Williams sustained a stress fracture of the Fibula during last weekend’s 3-3 with Brive. 

Less than a month after signing with Tanu Umaga's side, Williams has now been ruled out for the next three weeks  meaning his first match back in action could be against former Heineken Cup winners Northampton Saints, on October 9.
