Team of the week
Munster. They came back from the previous week's defeat by Gloucester in some style in front of that passionate Thomond Park crowd. They had a game plan and went about it.
They are now strong candidates to finish the pool stage as No.1 seeds, and earn a home quarter-final at a ground where they appear unbeatable.
I think most of the top international sides would not beat Munster in Limerick, so what hope for the clubs? The sheer pace they generated on their game was bewildering and stopped the cherry and whites from gaining any momentum.
There were some great performances last weekend but this one was up there with the best we have seen in the Heineken Cup and Munster must now be rated as favourites to reach the semi-finals.
Try of the week
Ignacio Corleto (for Stade Francais v The Dragons). This was a cracker...Christophe Dominici's flip pass to the on-rushing Argentina full-back was sensational, but it was the way they put this try together - the impressive drive from the forwards, slick handling and direct running. It was really great.
Stade must of had a rocket from after their defeat in Newport the week before and performed very well. They have some very good players, Brian Liebenberg was superb in the centre, and they cut swathes through the opposition.
They must go to Leicester on the final day and will have to win to qualify, so it will be tough, but on that form they will test anyone.
Player of the week
Benoit Baby (Toulouse). Martin Johnson was outstanding for Leicester, but Baby really rattled the Ospreys in Neath. He set up two tries for wing Vincent Clerc and scored one himself.
Baby is one of a sensational line-up of new, young French backs and is one to watch. He has pace, power, handling and all-round skills which are a joy to watch.
Villain of the week
Nicolas Jean-Jean (Toulouse). He just lost it after seeing the Osprey's Gavin Henson run round him to score a try and kicked the touchflag, which caught the touch judge full in the face. It was lucky that there wasn't a serious injury.
He later got subbed by Clement Poitrenaud, not a bad replacement...
Moment of the Week
Martin Johnson's try for Leicester Tigers v Ulster. Leicester has immense pressure on them and they absolutely blitzed Ulster away, and Jonno just had to touch down after a 30-yard dash to round things off.
It was so fitting, he has played a lot of rugby, been a great servant to club and country and this was the day when he said goodbye to England.
I played alongside him for England and the Lions and I can tell you it was great being on the same side, a lot easier than playing against him...He was an absolute nightmare to be up against - what a player!!
