After round six of the Heineken Cup pool stages we finally know the make-up this year's quarter finals.
Watching all of the round six action for you, as always, was Sky Sports expert and former Lions and England scrum-half, Dewi Morris.
Each week on skysports.com he compiles his Heineken picks and it won't surprise you to hear that some men from Munster feature in this week's selections...
TEAM OF THE WEEK:
MUNSTER
Munster against Wasps was billed as the big one but it didn't really live up to the expectations, mainly because Wasps couldn't handle the pressure, the weather and a malfunctioning game plan, i.e. their lineout.
But take nothing away from Munster, who put in a magnificent display of whole-hearted, savvy, wet-weather rugby. The conditions were terrible but they played smart game.
It was not the classic we expected but the way Munster got the job done was amazing.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Ronan O'Gara, fly-half, Munster
I've seen him play some good games before but that would rank as one his best ever. He might disagree with me but he was smiling at the end of the game and more often than not we see a slightly sour-faced Ronan after the final whistle.
Either way it was a superb fly-half display in those conditions, one of ten best performances in wet-weather that I can remember.
With Wasps' line-out in disarray, the touchline was Munster's friend and O'Gara's kicking game helped keep Wasps on the back foot.
If Declan Kidney gave O'Gara him a game-plan before the game I would imagine that his execution of it was inch-perfect. He didn't put a foot wrong.
TRY OF THE WEEK:
Jonathan Thomas, Ospreys v Bourgoin
I came close to giving this to Munster too - for Denis Leamy's try - because it came after 22 phases in the wet and when O'Gara saw it was on, he went for it and they executed it.
It was the try that killed off Wasps and O'Gara was at the heart of it - he really did have a hand in everything.
It comes a close to second to Jonathan Thomas's try for Ospreys, one that could be oh-so-important in the context of their campaign and their history as a club.
Thomas came on as a replacement in a game the Ospreys were in control of but then let Bourgoin back into. Osrpeys came back again but they will have to play more sensible rugby that that later on in the competition.
The importance of Thomas's try became evident after the last play of game when Bourgoin replacement Florian Denos came back and scored a converted try in the corner.
Without Thomas's try the game might have ended in a draw and that would not have been enough for the Ospreys.
VILLAIN OF THE WEEK:
Rain, rain, go away...
I am sure everyone is expecting me to call out Julian White he and you don't need me to tell him that what happened at Welford Road on Saturday between him Malcolm O'Kelly wasn't good.
The real villain of the weekend though was the weather. There are plenty of teams that could blame the rain for their performances over the weekend and certainly, it didn't allow certain teams that needed to play that luxury.
But it just goes to show that you need two game plans; one for the wet and another for the dry. Certain teams have both, Munster and Cardiff for example, and they are in the last eight.
MOMENT OF THE WEEK:
Praise for the TMO
A lot of people, our guests in the studio included, were caught out by the decision to award Saracens' Richard Haughton a try against Glasgow at Firhill.
Hefin O'Hare had a 'Clement Poitrenaud moment' in the early stages of the pool four decider - I really don't understand why wingers and full backs don't just touch it down or hoof it - and Haughton stole in to score what turned out to be an important try.
Our commentators and guests were up in arms about the decision by the TMO because Haughton's hand was in touch when he grounded the ball... but the TMO was right.
I had a vague recollection a game from a few seasons ago when a player ran round the outside of the flag and touched the ball down for a try when no part of his body was in the in-goal area - and that was also correctly awarded as a try.
I am sure there are plenty of fans out there who didn't know about this... well you do now, and hats off to the TMO for getting a big decision right.
