Joe Worsley, the England and London Wasps flanker, is set to miss the Amlin Challenge Cup back-to-back clashes with Bayonne next month after tearing knee ligaments in last Saturday's Test against New Zealand.
The double Heineken Cup champion sustained the injury just one minute after the start of the Twickenham international. A scan has revealed that he suffered a "grade three medial collateral ligament" injury to his right knee and might not be able to play until the end of the Pool stages of Amlin Challenge Cup tournament.
According to the club, Worsley will see a surgeon to discuss the best possible management of his injury.
