There was another dose of European disappointment for Sergio Parisse and his team but the Stade Francais Paris captain paid handsome tribute to Leinster following their 34-13 victory at the RDS.

Now for the elusive double - that was the defiant message from Joe Schmidt after they had lifted the third European title of his reign.

Fourth title for Leinster

Leinster lifted a third European trophy in as many years - and a fourth in five seasons - as they turned on the style to blitz Stade Francais Paris with four tries in a 34-13 triumph at a vibrant RDS and get the Dublin finals weekend off to a flier.
