This Sunday's "Adams Park" encounter sees an interesting dress rehearsal for the April 11th Amlin Challenge Cup Quarter-final.
Wasps advanced to the April fixture as winners of Pool 4 in the Amlin Challenge Cup. Their quarter-final opponents, Gloucester Rugby, also made it through from the Heineken Cup's Pool Stages - a new initiative introduced by ERC for this season's Amlin Challenge Cup.
Newcastle Falcons, the other English team still involved in the tournament, will host Bath. While Connacht, Scarlets and Cardiff will face Glasgow, Ulster and the Heineken Cup winners Leinster respectively, in the Magners League.
In the Top 14, Toulon will challenge Biarritz at Mayol in a game that both clubs can't afford to lose if they want to secure a place in the Heineken Cup next season. At the opposite end of the table, Bourgoin will play against Montauban in a "must win game" where the losing club will get dangerously closer to the relegation places.
The Amlin Challenge Cup Quarter-finals will take place the weekend of the 9/10/11 April 2010. For more information about tickets, contact the clubs involved in the knock-out stages.
