Moody to go to Bath
5 March 2010, 2:27 pm
Bath Rugby has announced the signing of England International and British & Irish Lion Lewis Moody on a three-year deal.
Moody has made 216 first-team appearances since his debut in August 1996, scoring 34 tries. Awarded an MBE following England's Rugby World Cup win in 2003, he has gained 59 senior caps, played in three Tests with the British & Irish Lions and won twice the Heineken Cup in 2001 and 2002.

The 31-year-old flanker will join Bath at the end of the season having spent more than a decade with the Tigers.

"I am really looking forward to an exciting new challenge at this stage of my career. Bath Rugby's values perfectly suit my own, it is a great City and Club, with a real family feel and a close knit and impressive squad.

"I have always known that if I was ever going to leave Leicester, the only club I would consider in the UK would be Bath. They play an exciting brand of rugby and having spent time with both Steve Meehan and Nick Blofeld I am sure that there are exciting years ahead." said Lewis.
