The European Challenge Cup will be awash with big name stars next season with Metro-Racing among the many French clubs getting their cheque books out having signed Springbok World Cup winner François Steyn, France international captain Lionel Nallet, as well as bringing the Caveman Sébastien Chabal back home to France. 

In Pool 3 Toulon have brought former Leinster points machine Felipe Contepomi and Johnny Wilkinson to the Stade Mayol and will be coached by Philippe Saint - André. 

While in the Heineken Cup the 1997 winners Brive have added Riki Flutey and Jamie Noon to their growing expat community, while Tom Palmer and James Haskell have also took the ferry to France join Stade Francais Paris.
