Stade boss Ewan McKenzie
Stade boss heralds bonus point win
18 October 2008, 6:01 pm
Stade Francais coach Ewen McKenzie was delighted with his side's display following their bonus-point victory over the Scarlets.
World Player of the Year nominee Sergio Parisse touched down twice as the two-time finalists extended their unbeaten home record in the Heineken Cup to 17 matches.

And McKenzie admits his change of tactics in the second-half enabled the French giants to open the floodgates

McKenzie said: "They put a lot of pressure on us by keeping the ball and it was a draining task just to defend.

"We changed the tactics in the second half and played direct and we scored three tries within 10 minutes. We clicked in the second half and got the result we wanted.

Scarlets coach Nigel Davies said: "We gave a couple of penalties away in their half and they managed to take advantage of that and scored tries.

"The lessons you've got to learn in this game is that you always get some punishment if you are always off your game.

"We've got to remain positive, we've got two important games against Ulster and we have to keep fighting."
