Leinster's losing run continues

Coach Micheal Cheika left skipper Leo Cullen and backs trio Brian O'Driscoll, Gordon D'Arcy and Shane Horgan in Dublin as Leinster travelled to Scotland to take on fellow Play-Off chasers, Glasgow.

And the lack of firepower as Leinster failed to score a try while the home team crossed three times to end the night resounding 30-6 victors.

That was the second defeat in a matter of days for Leinster, who tumbled 27-13 at the hands of Connacht on Wednesday evening.

However, the Dublin team are still in pole position for a home Play-Off place in their domestic competition and have the big-time tussle with Toulouse to look forward to in the Heineken Cup semi-final next weekend.

For that match, which will be played at Toulouse's fearsome "Le Stadium", coach Cheika will be sure to bring back his big-name players.

Yesterday, without them, there was a lack of potency that meant their stand in fly half, Paul O'Donohoe kicked all his side's points, and that was just two penalty goals.

With Jonathan Sexton and Eoin Reddan expected back next weekend, Leinster should hope to return to winning ways.
