Ulster have been dealt a blow following the news that new recruit, Ruan Pienaar, is likely to miss the start of the competitive season after the South Africa international suffered a shoulder injury.
Pienaar, popped his AC joint in the Sharks' recent Currie Cup victory over Free State Cheetahs and has been ruled out for six weeks.
It means Sharks' fans have now seen the last of their beloved Pienaar, as by the time he recovers, he will be in Ireland ready to start his new career with 1999 Heineken Cup winners, Ulster. However, the versatile Springbok should be fit by the time Ulster begin this season's Heineken Cup campaign against Aironi Rugby at Ravenhilll on Friday, 8 October.
