Glasgow Warriors may have been drawn against two of the continent's most-successful sides in next season's Heineken Cup but that hasn't disappointed skipper Ali Kellock.
The Warriors will face four times European Champions and current holders Toulouse and double Heineken Cup winners London Wasps, as well as regular foes Newport Gwent Dragons, in Europe's top tournament.
But instead of shying away from the prospect of facing sides with a far greater continental pedigree than themselves, Glasgow are more than ready for the challenge.
And that attitude shouldn't come as a major surprise.
Glasgow shocked Toulouse on French soil two seasons ago and will arrive in the pool stages next season in confident mood having reached the inaugural Magners League Play-Offs last month after a fine domestic campaign.
"We want to be testing ourselves against the best and in the group we've got we can definitely do that," said Glasgow skipper Ali Kellock.
"We are under no illusions that Toulouse will be massive favourites from our group. They are the current champions and best team in Europe and playing at their ground is a fantastic experience.
"But 2009, when we won at Toulouse, was a real high point over the last few seasons and everybody is really excited about the opportunity to go back there and also face Toulouse at Firhill.
"Wasps are another of Europe's real big clubs. They are huge in European terms and that's the sort of team that you want to compete against.
"We know the Dragons really well. Both teams will be happy to see each other again!"
